Kostas Mitroglou could soon be heading back to London, with West Ham United reportedly keen on the former Fulham striker.Mitroglou was unable to stop Marseille crashing out of the Europa League group stages on Thursday night, despite reaching the final against Atletico Madrid last season.2

Mitroglou is reportedly a January target for the Hammers

Thursday’s 2-1 defeat to Lazio left the Ligue 1 side with just one point from four Group H games so far.And now, according to L’Equipe, fewer games in the second half of the season means the Les Olmpienswill ship out a number of first-team players when the January window opens.Among them will be former Fulham forward Mitroglou, who has started just four league games so far this term.And that will come as good news to West Ham, who are said to be working on a deal to bring the 30-year-old back to England. The Hammers were linked with a move for Marseille captain Dimitri Payet in the summer, but a move to bring the former Hammer of the Year back to east London failed to materialise.2
